Staying true to Spring 2011, the weather
forecast for the Jethro Tull concert called for
showers..... but the evening at the Chateau was
great. From the quick Shuttle service to the
Amphitheater to the wine, sound and seats, the
temperature was mild and only a couple mists
came through! The concert started about
7:15 with no opening band. Ian Anderson at 63, sounded GREAT on his flute
and mandolins !! The long time band sounded great too from our center
section seats of the
Chateau's Amphitheater.
Playing many of the hits from the album "Aqualung",
Ian and the lads played many of the band hits!
The encores included Aqualung & Locomotive
Breath. He sounded great and still
had lots of energy prancing with his signature
one leg stance! The Bass beat was strong. A
Perfect Concert!!!
The egress after the concert was equally as
quick. It was still light out at 9:30 and with
the express bus lane to the parking lots we
were at H's car in no time! Earliest concert
ending I've been to in a while! I guess to get
those old people to bed! :))
5 stars for the facility
5 stars for the sound
4 stars for not being very FSB!
Flutes Rock!!
Movies coming soon!
