I've followed
Alecia since
her second album, "M!ssundaztood".
Her "Get the Party Started"
and "Just like a Pill" started her distinctive rock
sound. Originally booked at the WAMU Theater, the demand was so
high they moved it to the larger venue Seattle's Key Arena. I of
course got tickets right away at the WAMU Theater which admitted
us to floor seats at the Key!!! I lined up an hour before the
doors opened and as soon as they did, I knew exactly the layout
and where to go!! Front Center Stage Baby!!! I heard
people behind us say they were in line early in the morning...
And that's where we stood for the next 5 hours.....
No Camera --- Yeah right! ;))

The Ting Tings
opened up the evening. They're an English rock duo of
Jules De Martino (drums, lead guitar, vocals, piano) and
Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drums and bass guitar).
These two produced amazing high energy... Warm up
they did... and so were we! They asked just one thing
and that was to dance, I was soaked! From
the great beats of
Great DJ and
Shut Up and Let Me Go,
The Ting Tings brought down the house with their hits
Be
the one,
We Walk and
of course
That's Not My
Name. Their performance was energetic and Katie is part of this
great new wave of British rock 'n roll women! Fun warm up!

Go to P!NK pictures |
It was amazing how much sound and rhythm the
two could produce!
More Cowbell!
and the drums, the drums, the drums...
"They call me is Stacy, They call me her, They call me Jane,
That's not my name... "
Katie!!

And then
FUNHOUSE started!!
The Funhouse clowns were inflated and
