Joan Jett was a founding member of
The Runaways the all-girl hard rock
band sensation from 1975 to 1979 with their hit
"Cherry Bomb" then in 1980,
 Joan
formed Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and
produced hits like "I Love Rock 'n' Roll",
"Crimson and Clover," "I Hate Myself
for Loving You," "Do You Want to Touch
Me," "Light of Day," "Love Is All
Around," "Bad Reputation," and "Little
Liar."
Joan also stared in the 1987 movie "Light of Day" with
Michael J Fox. She also was an executive
producer for the 2010 film
The Runaways, which chronicled The Runaways'
career.
Twilight's
Kristen Stewart played Joan Jett in the film and The Runaways'
lead singer,
Cherie Currie, was played by
Dakota Fanning.
I saw this movie hours
before the concert here and it was a great
preface to the evening ahead! The movie was
acted great and the period props were very
accurately portrayed!

When I was buying the pre-sale tickets, I first
bought two seats in the VIP section and then a
few minutes later the two seats next two me
opened up so I bought those too! But then
with only Ralph showing interest, I sold the
extra two tickets on Craigslist to pay for the
first two. :~o
Joan at 53 looked and sounded
great!!! She rocked her songs all night long.
She frequently talked to the crowd saying they
had to rent a Jet in Minnesota the night before
in order to get here!
We had great seats in the center of the VIP
section and when the time was right we stormed
the stage! In moments we we inches from
the stage! Right in front of Joan!!!!
