 Psychedelic Pill tour
Two hour line-up on a clear cold afternoon... Three hours till Neil Young & Crazy Horse.... & Front Stage Baby!! Holding on to the Front Rail with Ray Boyer. What a great concert with one of the Icons of Rock 'n Roll! From The Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Neil Young has graced us with his distinctive voice, guitar and personal lyrics. We were one of the first wrist-banded people in Key Arena and were able to FSB witness a great concert set. Neil sounded GREAT! FSB ROCKS!! But since the stage security was stationed right in front of me, I never took any videos but plenty of FSB pictures! |

| Grimes - aka Claire Boucher ~ Oct 17 Neumos More FSB Pictures! Videos in HD and HIFi |
 I first saw Vancouver’s Claire Boucher aka Grimes at the beginning of her career opening up for Swedish singer/songwriter Lykke Li in early 2011. Since then she’s evolved her music to critical acclaim. There’s no way to define Grimes’ music, she herself describes it as “ADD music". Her new hit “Genesis" is hypnotic. It’s amazing what music she can create with all her electronics samplers, loopers and synthesizers. It was a late evening mid-week SOLD OUT concert at Neumos on Capitol Hill. I was one of the first ones in, staking my spot in front of the stage, baby! The place can become a sweaty mosh pit so getting to hold on to the stage was great, I only had to endure a few hard pushes… :) The MYTHS, a two woman electronic band also from Vancouver opened and they also backed Grimes. James Brooks also a sampler, was Elite Gymnastics the second act. James performed a portion of his set sitting on the stage with his electronics. It is as hard to define the concert, as it is to define Grimes’ music. IT’S ART! |

Believe Tour Tacoma Dome October 9th, 2012
I hadn't planned on going to the concert but I had several requests from others to find tickets for their kids.... I had my normal Craigslist app going seeing some near stage tickets going for $1700! The Ticketmaster site showed SOLD OUT for months! During my normal daily ticket checks... the Justin Bieber TM site showed problems loading the interactive seat charts and then Walla.... One ticket 6 rows from the front of the stage showed up for $105. I had to buy it! I figured it was Serendipity! I needed to go with No Regrets!!!!
I was able to wiggle near the front of the stage and each time the usher asked me to move back, I said my daughter was up front. :)
It wasn't as loud as I thought it would be, I've heard louder teen screams at other concerts! ;) I didn't use earplugs. I was a fish out-of-water with predominately young girls and parents, but I didn't care!! There was soooo much live performance excitement in the air!! Carly Rae put on a great set but you know the girls were all stoked for Justin!
For those Justin haters: This kid has real talent! He grew up in Ontario Canada, taught himself to play the piano, drums, guitar, and trumpet. At age 12 he was performing on the streets! Usher took him under his wings at 13 and the rest is history!

Carly Rae Jepsen - The Believe Tour ~ October 9th More FSB Pictures! Videos in HD and HIFi
Canadian Idol contestant, British Columbia singer/songwriter, Carly Rae Jepsen, opened for Justin. Carly was signed by Justin to his label in 2012. At 27, Carly released 2 albums already this year. The EP Curiosity included the Mega-hit "Call Me Maybe" and her new album "Kiss" released last month has "Call Me Maybe", "The Kiss", "Curiosity", "Beautiful" and her new Mega-hit with Owl City, "GOOD TIME".
"Woah-oh-oh-oh Woah-oh-oh-oh It's always a good time Woah-oh-oh-oh We don't even have to try, it's always a good time."
It sure was a fun "GOOD TIME" seeing her performance!! ♥ that Carly Rae!

OMG! I haven't had one of these in a while!
I had to see my Natalie Portman's Shaved Head band's last
show ever
but it was at The Vera Project so everyone there
was a teen or 20's.
I represented! :D It was a complete
sweat-box in there! Crowd surfing,
balloons, confetti, moshing,
dancing. All my clothes were soaked wet
and I lost 6 lbs!
My pedometer said I logged 30 miles. ;) |
