On a hot Sunday evening at the Whiteriver Amphitheatre I witnessed another great concert event at the front of the stage! No Doubt was on their reunion tour with Paramore, the band that did some of the "Twilight" movie soundtrack and The Sounds a Swedish rock band.

I joined The No Doubt Tour Club which gave me pre-sale access to a special moshing area in front of the stage! I bought 2 of those pit tickets and a Premier Parking Pass, the only way to go!

Ray was the lucky second ticket recipient but I didn't think he knew we were going to Mosh! The night before I had watched Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo from the 5th row at the Emerald Queen Casino. Now The No Doubt Mosh Pit Experience.

As we entered the special Tour Club entrance, we were given wristbands with warnings that people will try to rip them off you! We loaded up with drinks & food and headed to the pit area.

Rule of Thumb:
    Always storm the front of the stage when you get access.
    It Is Worth It!!!

When we got there, there were already people lined up in front of the stage so Ray & I went stage left. Still only one or two people in front of us and the stage!  We endured 4 hours of not moving form our coveted space "in space" in front of the stage. We moved all night closer and to the center of the stage. We participated in jump dancing and all the bumping and.....

As the night went on, thousands of other people filled in the whole amphitheater. It was very surrealistic to look backward to see 20,000 people all behind you!
 

To sum it up, it was one of the most rock concerts I've been to!
Each band was fantastic and the lead singers were outstanding!

Of course being in the Mosh Pit in front of the stage added to the experience!

The Sounds
A Swedish new wave band formed in 1999. Lead by singer Maja Ivarsson a surprisingly good opening act!!
Maja danced and entertained the crowd well. Her voice was one moment sweet and soft and the next loud and raspy! The sun was setting and the stage was getting hot. Crowd Management distributed water bottles to share. This was the first concert The Sounds joined the No Doubt tour! They played a good half hour set!
